Witchford is a thriving village about two miles west of Ely in Cambridgeshire. It has been around for a long time - there is an entry in the Domesday book, which you can read in Ely Museum.

The community has a wide range of facilities - primary & secondary schools, churches, garage, shops and a restaurant.  Many new houses have been built in recent years and the population has risen to well over 2000.
