Littleport Lions

The members of Littleport Lions Club come from all walks of life and are united in a common drive to serve their community. They support individuals, agencies and charities to achieve well-defined aims which will benefit local people..  Our aim is to enrich the lives of those who find it difficult to help themselves. The Club, therefore, focuses its projects preferentially on four areas - youth, the handicapped, families and senior citizens. We raise funds from the people of Littleport and we ensure that at least 95% of our revenue is spent on projects that benefit our local

                           community. www.littleportlions.org.uk

Earth (Helping Local People Grow)

EARTH  enables people of a range of ages with various (dis)abilities to work alongside each other in real horticultural situations. There is no doubt that many people with difficulties have been helped greatly by their involvement with EARTH, especially in their self-esteem and their social skills, remembering that a small improvement for anyone can be a considerable step for one with a low level of achievement and expectation. www.earthely.co.uk

Helping Hands (Volunteer Centre)

Red Balloon Learner Centres (Bullied Children)

No-one has to put up with bullying. Bullying makes you feel miserable, sad, angry and worthless.

Adults and young people who are bullied blame themselves, sometimes hurt themselves, are afraid to go to work or school or appear in public places.

One of the worst things that happens to people who are bullied is that they think it is their fault. It is not! But feeling it is your fault often prevents you from telling anyone about what is going on. Sometimes people keep quiet about it for weeks and even months.
